COMPUTACH . ALL IN ONE

VARIABLE SPEED (2.000 .. 150.000)

VIDEO / MONITOR SYNCHRONISER

SINGLE FRAME (WITH CAPPING AND FLASH)

CAMERA SPEED RAMP with IRIS \ SHUTTER COMPENSATION INTERLOCK

CRYSTAL VARIABLE SPEED

Speed is variable to three decimal place, displayed to 1 decimal place.
The left-hand bottom corner of the screen indicates the actual camera speed when the camera is rolling.
The required camera speed is displayed in the right-hand bottom corner of the screen.
Speed can be varied while the camera is rolling or not rolling.
The cursor underlines the digit that the ‘ + ‘ and ‘ - ‘ buttons can change.
These buttons can be pressed momentarily for single digit change, or held down for rapid digit change.
The cursor is moved under any other digit of the selected speed setting with the arrow button.
Variable speeds from 2 to 150 frames per second, depending on the camera and accessories:
Crystal accuracy to 3 places.
Changeable while running.
Phase button.
2.000 to 150.000 Frames / sec depending on camera and accessories

VIDEO SYNCHRONISER ·.

This function is used to synchronise (remove roll bar, flicker and colour temperature change from the film) to a T.V. screen, computer monitor, mains or portable electricity supplies by matching the camera speed to the frequency and phase of the source.
Computach can control the camera over a range of synchronising speeds: from one eighth of , to the source frequency.
This ratio of the source frequency to the camera speed is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.
Once the camera has been phased the Computach will automatically phase on each following roll. (displayed to 2 decimal places)

1. A Video signal is connected to the Video connector (BNC) on the Computach .
2. MAGNETIC PICKUP (with LED indicator) is placed on monitor.
3. AC PLUG PACK is connected to the electricity supply and Computach.
4. COMPUTER VGA ADAPTOR is connected to the AUX. on Computach .

SINGLE FRAME ·.

The operator programmes the required settings into Computach, which are repeated continuously when the camera is rolling.
INTERVAL TIME :the period of time between the start of each set of bursts.
Range : 2 seconds to 10 hours.
BURST COUNT: the number of frames to be taken in a burst.
Range : 1 to 99
BURST TIME : the period of time between the start of each frame roll within a burst.
Range: 2 to 99 seconds.
2 to 99 seconds.
If the Interval Time has been set below the minimum value, the Computach will automatically adjust it to this minimum value.
Outputs for ...
Synchronised flash.
Capping shutter.
Lighting control.

CAMERA SPEED RAMP with IRIS or SHUTTER COMPENSATION

This function is used for effects by varying the camera speed.
The Computach will compensate exposure by adjusting the iris (or shutter on ARRI 435 etc).
The unit operates over a 5 stop range (5 to 80 frames/sec).
This function requires Computach SPEED RAMP / IRIS INTERLOCK UNIT and a Hadaen type Motor for the lens.
It can be operated in two modes ie.
(a) Preprogrammed ramp from initial to final crystal speeds over a set time period.
(b) Speed manually varied by rotating control on iris unit.
It can be also programmed to go from manual control in and out of a programmed crystal speed (ie 24.000 fr/sec)
